DESCRIPTION

The sensitivity to even the smallest rhythmic movement of dance appears before speaking or walking. Dance was one of the first forms of expression and communication in prehistoric communities, even predating verbal language.

Through dance, children learn to combine movement with music, stimulating both physical and emotional growth, which in turn, contributes to a much richer educational process throughout their development that has been demonstrated in numerous studies.

PRE BALLET 1

We have fun with music, rhythm and dance!

Throughout this initiation course, ballet is not yet practiced properly but rather introduces children to dance with a series of activities and techniques bases on games, experimentation, musicality, free movement and imagination. Our students work with their existing abilities of rhythm, coordination, balance and physical abilities until obtaining the optimum level of preparation to begin regular ballet classes.

Course designed for students 4-5 years old

Tuesday & Thursday: 17.15 to 18.15

PRE BALLET 2

We begin to know the dancer inside. We start at the bar and begin basic movements to understand why classical ballet is the foundation for every type of dance.

Students learn rudimentary movements, basic exercises, timing, personal expression, concepts and nomenclature using logic and intuition.

They learn to coordinate basic movements with ballet so that they are assimilated naturally into the subconscious, greatly facilitating future learning of classical dance or any other style they are studying.

Course designed for students in 1st and 2nd grade

Tuesday & Thursday: 18.15 to 19.15

BALLET BASE

Having passed the initial stages of training of ballet and understanding the discipline, sensitivity, effort, magic and elegance that this entails, the dancer begins to realize the first visual and spectacular results on stage.

This course is specifically designed to introduce children to the world of dance and provide them with a solid foundation of technical and artistic skills, allowing them to access professional dance preparation if they so desire.

Course designed for students in 3rd and 4th grade

Tuesday & Thursday: 19.15 to 20.15
